My work:
Director of Programs of West Africa Rural
Foundation operating in sénégal, mali, the gambia, The republic
of Guinea and Guinée Bissau. Our web site:

. Warf's mission is to help rural communities to find and follow a path of
self reliance. The main domains of programs are: Rural entrepreneurship,
Gender & equity, Local governance and Regional Integration. We
provide training and small grants to rural communities and local
NGO and services to international cooperation in several domains of supporting
rural populations through National Poverty alleviation Projects.
My checkreality/case:
For 10 years, warf has provided and financed trainings particulary in methodological
methods; we have learnt that it is a long term- investment because of changes
that affect the rural commuities. these changes come from the 'decision -makers'
and from the general effects of globalisation; the rural communities have
no control in these processes and need to understand better what happens
in order to develop strategies and actions that can help them to participate
and influence the decision at national, regional and local levels
