Took part in workshop in July 05 in Switzerland
A) My working situation:

B) My challenge for the workshop:
Institutional capacities in developing countries for education and training in rural development and agriculture have become weaker over the last decade. We need to develop new ides on how to overcome this crisis, since human and institutional capacities as reflected in expressed skills are crucial for sustainable development in rural areas.

FundaciÛn PROINPA: An example how institutional capacity is built to further farmers skills to participate in value chains (Bolivia).

D) My topical interests:
- Training Center (and outreach) Priority 2
This is about designing, organizing, managing and funding a combination of a fixed training center with various outreach programs that reach into villages.

- Organizing Demand and Supply of Trainings
. Priority 2
This is about making sure that all the players in SDRA have enough information about what is available, what should be developed and how to make the supply and demand for SDRA-efforts meet each other.
