A) My working situation:
I am Managing Director of INBAS, responsible
of all international projects of the company. The projects
I currently oversee cover a broad range of activities on all
continents but with a focus on skills development. Apart from
managing a number of contracts I am also directly involved in a few
projects where I work as a consultant. These include the CAPLAB project
of SDC in Peru, the SDC project PROCEDE in Ecuador,
as well as some recent SDC activities in Moldova.
B) My challenge for the workshop:
To compare the experiences gained at CAPLAB and
PROCEDE with the experiences in other countries and to see
to what extent mutual learning and transfer are possible.
C) My contribution:
I could introduce the participants to the CBET
approach and discuss its relevance for skills development in
rural areas.
D) My topical interests:
1. Organizing Demand and Supply of Trainings
2. Livelihood coalitions
3. Working with migrants
