A) My working situation:
I work as a National Program Officer in COOF Mongolia and I am responsible for Development Cooperation Programs. I have been working with COOF Mongolia for two years.

B) My challenge for the workshop:
As many other transition economies, Mongolia is facing a tremendous challenge with fighting poverty and prodiving  employment for people, particularly in rural areas. In the environment where both institutional as well as human capacity is lacking, how to best address the shortage
of skill development training and organize it in a way to reflect labour market demand is the area I would like to share experiences and best practices with experts and colleagues within SDC.

C) My contribution:
I have implemented a small pilot project in one of the remote western provinces of Mongolia and had an opportunity to expose to experiences of inspiring and having commitment of local partners into the process.

Topics:
1/ Mobile Units
This is about how to organize, operate and finance mobile training units

2/ Training Center (and outreach)
This is about designing, organizing, managing and funding a combination of a fixed training center with various outreach programs that reach into villages.

3/ Capacity and Organisation Development related to SDRA
This is about how to help local organisations/institutions to be able to organize themselves for efficient SDRA efforts.
